Founded in May 1951 as a wholly state-owned enterprise, the company is located in Jingkou Industrial Park, Shapingba District, Chongqing, covering an area of 172 mu (approx. 114,700 m²), with a registered capital of RMB 196 million. It has been rated as an A-level (Grade-A) taxpayer for ten consecutive years (2014–2023).
