Nantong Power Station Valve Co., Ltd. is located beside the Tongyang Canal in the national‑level Rugao Economic & Technological Development Zone. It covers a land area of 32,515 ㎡ and a building area of 16,526 ㎡. Founded in 1960, the company launched mass production of fully‑forged power station globe valves in 1975. In 1979, it was designated by the former Ministry of Electric Power and Ministry of Machinery Industry as a specialized manufacturer of power‑station valves. The enterprise specializes in the R&D and manufacturing of various high‑, medium‑ and low‑pressure power‑station valves.

Its products are widely used in steam power systems of large‑scale thermal power, nuclear power, waste‑to‑energy, biomass power generation, waste‑heat power generation, petrochemical, metallurgy and papermaking industries, with extensive service references covering operating conditions from ultra‑supercritical down to sub‑high‑pressure thermal power units.

Currently, the company serves as a council member of the Valve Branch of China General Machinery Industry Association and vice‑chairman unit of Jiangsu Valve Industry Association. It is a national high‑tech enterprise, Jiangsu innovative enterprise and Jiangsu specialized‑refined‑distinctive‑innovative SME. In January 2025, it became a holding subsidiary of listed company Shandong Longquan Pipe Industry Co., Ltd.

The company is equipped with manufacturing and testing facilities including CNC machining equipment, automatic welding systems, heat‑treatment furnaces, non‑destructive testing instruments and pressure test benches, enabling strong manufacturing capacity and quality control capability.

It has successively obtained management‑system and product certifications such as quality, environmental, occupational health & safety, intellectual property, metrology and EU PED.

The company hosts the Jiangsu Provincial Enterprise‑recognized Technology Center and Jiangsu Provincial Ultra‑supercritical Valve Engineering Technology Research Center. It has presided over and participated in drafting nearly 20 national and industrial standards. In 2010, it was selected by the National Energy Administration as a key R&D unit for the localization of critical valves for ultra‑supercritical thermal power units. In 2012, it was awarded the title of “Important Contributor to Localization of Critical Valves” by the National Energy Administration.
